The Work
The Work
Different fields. One approach to development.
Everything I do began with dance, but the work has grown far beyond it.
Today my work spans a wide area, RHYTMECALITY, the broader movement, competitive dance, social dance, teaching and coaching development, Rhythmecality, a music method for learning rhythm, the broader movement and body-awareness work of TONEMEUP PRO and BodyCoaching, as well as work around financial security and long-term planning.
The common thread is development: helping people understand where they are, recognize what deserves attention next, and build greater awareness, clarity and independence, whether that is in movement, teaching, professional growth or long-term planning.
In the area of financial security, the focus is on helping people become more conscious of their financial situation, think further ahead, and make more deliberate decisions about long-term stability and planning.

COMPETITIVE DANCE, TEACH & COACH DEVELOPMENT
Competitive Dance, Teach & Coach Development
Competitive dance remains the professional foundation of my work.
My experience spans dancing, competition, teaching, coaching, adjudicating, choreography and teacher development.
Today, my work increasingly focuses on mentorship and the development of teachers and coaches.
For me, a teacher and a coach must be able to do more than transfer information.
They need to recognize the person in front of them. They need to understand what that person requires next. And they need enough methodological range to choose the right approach rather than repeatedly using the same one.
That is why teaching and coaching development has become one of the central areas of my work.

RHYTMECALITY
Music is the soul of dancing

RHYTMECALITY grew from my lifelong relationship with music.
For more than 25 years, I have explored how dancers, teachers and coaches can understand rhythm more clearly and use music as a foundation for movement rather than simply as accompaniment.
That work has developed into books, teaching material and a structured methodology that continues to influence the way I teach today.

TONEMEUP PRO
Understanding movement through the body.

TONEMEUP PRO grew from decades of experience in dance, sport and movement, but it was never meant only for competitive dancers.
At its core, it is a movement and body-awareness approach for anyone who wants to understand and use the body more effectively. That can include dancers across all styles, recreational and professional sportspeople, and people who simply want to understand and use their bodies better in everyday life.
The focus is on body awareness, posture, coordination, alignment, body tension and movement quality — learning to feel what the body is doing, recognizing what can change, and turning that awareness into more effective, more efficient movement.
Its principles can also be relevant in contexts such as physiotherapy and rehabilitation, where body awareness, controlled movement and efficient use of the body matter.
This is also where my work as a BodyCoach comes in. BodyCoaching within TONEMEUP PRO is not about adding more information for its own sake. It is about helping people develop clearer body awareness, better coordination, more effective movement patterns and a stronger sense of what their own next step should be.
First feel your body, then go into action.

Beyond the Dance Floor
Financial Security & Long-Term Planning
This work began with a question I saw repeatedly in the dance world: what happens when a professional life is built around passion, performance or independence, but long-term financial planning is easy to postpone?
Over time, I realized that this question reaches far beyond dance.
Independent professionals, entrepreneurs and many others face the same challenge: creating greater clarity around financial security, future planning and the structures that support a sustainable life.
Through my partnership with Bauer Finanz, I help open that conversation and connect people with specialist financial expertise.
My role is not to replace the financial professional. It is to help make an important subject more accessible and encourage people to address it deliberately.
